Sports Club Villa Jogoo and Uganda U-23 towering forward Fahad Muhammed Tokko left the country to seek for medical attention for the troublesome groin injury in Sweden.
Tokko’s decision to leave Uganda even without informing his club bosses was because he had been neglected.
I left Uganda because i was not getting good treatment and attention on my health.
I am now recovering well in Sweden after getting top class treatment and i expect to start training next week.
SC Villa Chief Executive Officer (CEO) who is also the club’s acting public relations officer, Ivan Kakembo and members of the technical team did not know that their player had traveled to Sweden.
It is news I am hearing that Tokko is in Sweden. He did not tell us that he is leaving. However, we wish him a quick recovery although he remains contracted with us (SC Villa Jogoo) for the next two years
Tokko expects to start training with Kista F.C, a team he once played for.
I am aware that I’m still contracted at SC Villa but that will be solved amicably when I fully recover. I am focused to regaining my form. The treatment here (in Sweden) has been helpful
Tokko has also played for the Uganda Cranes in one game against Malawi national team, a game won by the Flames 1-0 in Blantyre.
