Denis Musinguzi, the chairperson for Airtel Kitara football club in Hoima Municipality was among the 8 FUFA Big league club officials voted as delegates to the FUFA general assembly.
Musinguzi, like the other 7 was voted unopposed during the elections of the second division representatives to the FUFA August house.
In an exclusive interview after his election with Airtel Uganda Football, Musinguzi revealed he is more than ready to serve the beautiful game;
I am more than ready to serve football. I am so happy that this chance to represent the FUFA Big league clubs in the FUFA general assembly has been granted.
The other successful delegates to represent the Big League who were declared on Monday included Jinja Municipal Council Hippos’ Faisal Muhammed, Norman Ssemwanga (Kireka United), Synergy’s coach Brian Ssenyondo, Hassan Kirunda Kakaire (Kataka F.C, Mbale), Apollo Ahimbisibwe (Ntinda United), Paul Mark Kayongo (Ndejje University) and Alfred Odaga (Paidha Black Angels).
The eight Big league delegates are part of the total 88 who will convene on 6th August 2017 to vote for the FUFA President at Masindi Hotel.
The other delegates come from beach soccer, youth, players, regions, women, women elite league, Azam Uganda Premier league and the referees.
