Airtel Masaza Cup 2017: Final group games take center stage

The Buganda Masaza tournament is bank rolled by Airtel Uganda

Sunday 2nd July 2017 Fixtures:

Butambala vs Mawokota – Kibibi Sss

Buvuma vs Busiro – Magyo

Kabula vs Ssese – Bakijulula

Kooki vs Buddu – Lwanda

Busujju vs Gomba – Kimuli

Buwekula vs Ssingo -Kasenyi

Bugerere vs Bulemeezi -Kayunga

Bululi vs Kyaggwe – Umea Mijeera

The final group stages of the Airtel sponsored Buganda Masaza football championship will be played on Sunday evening across the various play grounds within the Kingdom.

Three time winners Mawokota is away to Butambala at the  Kibibi Secondary School play ground.

Three points for Mawokota will be good enough to see them progress to the knock out stage with prayers that Busiro falters at Buvuma inMagyo.

Kabula hosts Ssese at the Bakijulula play ground in Lyantonde district as Kooki hosts the reigning champions Buddu at Lwanda.

Meanwhile, off colour Busujju, one team that has not won any game is at their Kimuli play ground against an effervescent Gomba outfit.

Buwekula hosts Ssingo at Kasenyi, Bugerere is at home to Bulemeezi and Buluuli will entertain Kyaggwe at the UMEA Primary school play ground in Mijeera, Nakasongola district.

Only two teams qualify per group.
