Meanwhile, Singo overcame  a hard fighting Buwekula outfit 1-0 at the Kasenyi playground in Mubende. Jamie Kisitu Nvule, formerly at Buwekula, this time round turned the guns to his former pay masters with the lone strike for Shafiq Bisaso’s led side.

There were two draws on the day. Bugerere shared the spoils with Bulemeezi in a one-all stalemate as Kooki and Buddu failed to find the back of the net at the Bakijulula playground.

Seven matches out of the eight matches in the Airtel Masaza football tournament were played on Sunday at various playgrounds in Buganda Kingdom.

The Buluuli – Kyaggwe game that was due to be played  at the UMEA Primary School, Mijeera in Nakasongola was not played because the latter side failed to produce licences prior to kick-off.

The final two group stage matches will be played this weekend.
