Uganda Cranes defender Murushid Jjuuko is a subject of interest from South Africa Premier Soccer League side, Orlando Pirates according to reports.
The 23-year-old, who plays for Tanzania side Simba SC is reportedly unsettled in Dar es Salaam and has expressed interest to leave the club.
It’s reported that Jjuuko is expected to fly to South Africa by the end of this week and the trip has only been delayed by the visa.
The former Vipers and SC VU star has spent the last two weeks training vigorously with the Uganda Cranes that was preparing for the 2018 CHAN qualifiers against South Sudan.
It is unclear whether Jjuuko will undergo trials at the Buccaneers or he will pen a deal straight away.
The centre back was part of the national team that featured in 2017 Africa Cup of Nations and also played a pivotal role as Uganda won 1-0 in Cape Verde to start the Afcon 2019 qualifiers on a winning note.
