Burundi and Sudan officials have been appointed to handle the CHAN 2018 qualifiers ties between Uganda Cranes and Rwanda’s Amavubi.
The first leg, which Uganda hosts at St. Mary’s stadium, Kitende on Saturday August 12 will be handled by Burundians led by centre referee Pacifique Ndabihawenimana who will be assisted by compatriots Gustave Baguma, Willy Habimana while Georges Gatogato will be the reserve referee while Kenyan Mohamed Omar Abubaker Yusuf will be the match Commissioner for the day.
The return leg due on August 18 at the Stade de Kigali will be handled by Sudanese officials led by centre referee Hafiz Abdelghani Alamen and assisted by compatriots Haitham Elnour Ahmed, Omer Hamid Mohamed Ahmed and Elsiddig Mohamed Eltreefe as the reserve referee.
The match commissioner will be Charles Samuel Kafatia from Malawi.
Uganda aim at reaching fourth successive CHAN tournament finals since 2011.
