SC Villa defender Ibrahim Kiyemba left the country last night for South African side, Stellenbosch Football Club with a move reportedly imminent.
Kiyemba received the invitation from the First Division side last week and the club has reportedly funded all the travel expenses for the right back.
“He will fly out tonight,” SC Villa President, Ben Misagga said yesterday. “All the travel expenses have been footed by the club with a two-year deal imminent,” he added.
Kiyemba becomes the fourth player to land an invite for trials in South Africa in less than a month.
Onduparaka’s Rashid Toha and Muhammad Shaban had unsuccessful trials at Premier Soccer League (PSL) side SuperSport United while KCCA defender Timothy Awany currently at Ajax Cape Town.
