Uganda Cranes starting line up against South Sudan

Uganda Cranes interim coaches Moses Basena and Fred Kajoba have named the starting line up against Rwanda in the CHAN 2018 qualifier to be played at St Mary’s stadium, Kitende.

Derrick Nsibambi starts as a lone striker with Moses Waiswa, Milton Karisa, Bernard Muwanga, Muzamiru Mutyaba and Shafiq Kagimu all offering the timely support as required.

Ismael Watenga starts in goal. Hardworking Nico Wakiro Wadada and Isaac Muleme take up the right and left back roles respectively.

Paul Musamali and Savio Kabugo will start in central defence.

Team captain Muwanga will play the anchorman role and is maintained the captain as he was against South Sudan at Lugogo.

It is a rich bench at the coaches’ disposal with Benjamin Ochan as the reserve goalkeeper.

Others are Rashid Toha, Deus Bukenya, Erisa Ssekisambu, Tom Masiko, Muhammed Shaban and 4 goal hero against South Sudan Paul Mucureezi

The return leg will take place next weekend. The winner over the two legs will qualify for the final tournament in Kenya come the year 2018.
