Uganda Cranes have shown a balance between defending and attacking in the first half of the 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifier match against Egypt.
In an open game at Nelson Mandela stadium, Namboole both Cranes and the Pharaohs of Egypt created opportunities with Cranes having three good chances.
Emmanuel Okwi one of the three forwards employed by Moses Basena and company has forced a couple of saves from Egyptian goalkeeper Essam El-Hadary.
Okwi broke on the right and shot from an acute angle but El-Hadary tipped the effort over the bar as the Cranes assumed momentum going forward.
Moments later, Ochaya whipped in a cross and Okwi unmarked at the far post shot in the middle of the goal and the legendary Egyptian keeper was again up to the task.
Derrick Nsibambi had a header tipped over the bar as halftime approached.
The visitors also had their own chances with Liverpool man Mohamed Salah causing havoc on the right and Mohmoud Saliman giving Murushid Jjuuko no breathing time.
