Vitalis Tabu in action for SC Villa

SC Villa Jogoo 1-0 Soana

Sports Club Villa Jogoo defeated Soana 1-0 to earn their first victory of the 2017/18 season.

Second half substitute Abdulmalick Vitalis was the hero with a 72nd minute free-kick at the Masaka Recreational stadium on the opening day of the season.

The former Onduparaka and Paidha Black Angels player had moments earlier replaced new recruit Allan Kyambadde before firing home past goalie Meddie Kibirige.

Half time of this game had failed to witness any scores for the two sides before the second stanza came calling.

John Adriko and Ambrose Kirya were the Jogoo players cautioned whilst Misi Katende and goalkeeper Kibirige were booked for Soana.

SC Villa is only side that registered maximum points on the first phase of the opening match day where 6 matches were played.
