Rwenzori group clubs, Greater Masaka F.C (formerly Lweza) has beefed up their squad ahead of the 2017-18 FUFA Big League season.
The outfit named Simon ‘Dunga’ Ddungu as their head coach also signing defender Duncan Ssemakula, Yasin Ssali, Bronson Sserumira, Ali Hayattou, goalkeeper Michael Majwega.
The club has also made it a point to feature in some the build up games and they lost 4-0 and 2-1 to KCCA before winning against Congolese side Bukavu 1-0 and drawing one-all against SC Villa Jogoo.
Greater Masaka United will host Kira United at the Masaka Recreational stadium on day one of the new season.
Sun City will remain at home to newly promoted Kabale Sharp in Kasese while Simba shall entertain Nyamityobora in Gayaza.
Vitara will face Kireka United in Houma as Water play against Kansai Plascon at Kibuli S.S play ground.
New comers Bumate United will also host Synergy.
