KCCA are likely to spend more than 100 million on Shaban Mohammed as several controversies continue to surround the transfer deal.
Airtel Football understands that KCCA and selling club Onduparaka are yet to fully release the player despite allowing him to train with the club.
It is reported that KCCA made an offer of Ugx. 20 million which the Caterpillars duly rejected, asking for more than 50 million.
“KCCA disrespected us and we are ready to follow the matter to its logical conclusion,” club CEO Anthony Affeti is quoted in the Daily Monitor.
“The player might have got his Shs50m sign-on fee but we can’t allow him to move at Shs20m (which KCCA reportedly offered),” he added.
We have been lenient with KCCA and let the player train and play friendly matches for them but they are yet to seek a formal settlement with us.
