Express Football Club will not participate in the 2018 CAF Confederation Cup due to financial constraints.
The outfit has taken the same route as Uganda Cup runners up Paidha Black Angels who cited financial constraints for their inability to represent the country at continental level last year.
The Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA) has since extended the chance to Sports Club Villa Jogoo.
The Jogoo president Ben Immanuel Misagga is yet to come up with the final decision.
”The Federation officials require an answer within three days. We are yet to meet as the executive for the decision,” Misagga said.
KCCA, who won a double last season will play in the CAF Champions League.
