Muwawu scores in injury time as Kirinya-Jinja SSS come from behind to salvage a point

Faisal Muwawu scored in injury time as Kirinya-Jinja SSS came from behind to draw 2-2 with Maroons in the Uganda Premier League.

Muwawu smashed in from close range to earn Charles Ayeikho’s boys a point in a dramatic fashion after goals from Eddy Kapampa scored direct from the corner inside ten minutes.

Musa Esenu who sat out Kirinya’s loss to his parent club Vipers over the weekend guided in Fred Amaku’s pass to restore parity earlier on.

Maroons’ goalkeeper Eric Dhaira who was playing his first game of the season didn’t finish the game due to an injury.

The league takes a breaks and returns on December 19. Kirinya-Jinja SSS will travel to Lugogo to face champions KCCA on that day and Maroons will host bottom side UPDF.
