Lukooya joins Kenya Premier League outfit AFC Leopards


Left footed winger Baker ‘Bakerazy’ Lukooya has joined Kenya Premier League outfit, AFC Leopards on a two year deal.

The player’s father Hajji Abdul Lukooya Ssekabira, also a FUFA delegate revealed the developments.

“Baker (Lukooya) has joined AFC Leopards in Kenya. We wish him the very best in life” Ssekabira, who is now in Zambia with the Uganda U-20 team as team manager said.

Lukooya, 23, transfers from Uganda Premier side, Soana Football Club.

Before playing for Soana, Lukooya had previously played at Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA) and Kiira Young Football Club.

At AFC Leopards, he joins the bandwagon of new recruits like Ezekiel Odera (Nairobi City Stars), Ezekiel Owade from Nakumatt FC, Ezekiel Otuoma and Brian Marita both from Western Stima as AFC Leopards prepares for a new season.

AFC Leopards is set to represent Kenya in the 2018 CAF Confederation Cup (winner of the 2017 Gotv shield cup).
