Ugandan coaches Moses Basena and Fred Kajoba will have a short coach training stint at Major League Soccer side New York Red Bulls.
They will travel to USA to link up with Ibrahim Sekagya who is a tactician at the franchise.
Basena’s contract was not renewed with Uganda Cranes’ after being named interim caretaker from former Milutin Sredojević.
Basena and Kajoba were meant to travel to New York on February 6th for the one-month exchange, but the trip was postponed to March 10th.
“The trip has been pushed back as the hosting team New York Red Bulls are still busy with preseason training,” Kajoba told KweséESPN.
“When I spent some time in the UK and trained with the goalkeeping department at Liverpool a few years ago, I was exposed to new ways of training,” he added.
“I am also optimistic this attachment will help us learn new aspects and methods.”
Micho terminated his employment contract citing non payment of salaries to the tune of $54,000.
