Masavu complete mid-season build up with win over Kampala United

Masavu Football Club completed their mid-season build up matches with a 1-0 victory against Kampala United at the Fisheries Training Institute play ground in Bugonga.

The match played in Entebbe saw the Uganda Premier League club score through Orthodox Left footed winger James Kasibante.

This was the third build-up of the Entebbe based club in the mid season period.

In the first build up, Masavu scored a late goal to condemn visiting Uganda Martyrs, Nkozi 1-0 at the Works play ground in the heart of Entebbe town.

So far, Masavu has signed 12 new players in the secondary transfer window to include Arthur Semazzi, Patrick Senfuka, Herbert Kakande, Simon Namwanja (on loan from Proline), Abubakari Tabula, James Kasibante and towering defender Micheal ‘Libero’ Otimong.

Other new signings are Salimu Munaku, Benjamin Nyakoojo (on loan from Vipers), Ashadu Bakulumpagi as well as the Godfrey duo of Waswa and Kana.

Masavu is preparing for the kick off the of the Uganda Premier league second round with a home game against UPDF this Saturday.
