Arsenal to train coaches and build academy in Uganda


English Premier League club Arsenal has pledged to construct stadia, train Ugandan coaches as well build academies in the pearl.

This follows Hon. Minister Charles Bakabulindi’s meetings with Arsenal officals in London last month.

“Our officials had successful meetings with Arsenal Football Club and they have decided they will train coaches and also build an Academy,” Bakabulindi revealed.

Bakkabulindi says the construction of the academy will boost Uganda’s resources but also build talent.

Spanish top side Barcelona, Patrick Kluivert and Rayco Garcia also offered to construct an academy for players but the project is yet to get underway.
