Return to Uganda Cranes’ team is a blessing – Kakuba

Stylish left back Alex ‘Junior’ Kakuba, currently based in Portugal with C.D. Feirense on loan from Estoril Praia believes his recall to the national team is a blessing.

Kakuba is among the 23 players that Uganda Cranes head coach, Sebastien Desabre named on Wednesday in preparation for the national team’s upcoming international friendly matches.

The former Proline Football Club, who also featured for Mawogola Ssaza in the famous Bika Bya Baganda football competition, testified to Airtel Football  in an interview;

This is really a great opportunity for me as a football. I am too excited for the chance given once again.

Calling me again to the national team means a lot especially to the development of my career.

In professional football especially in Europe, national team players are given a special consideration.

I am honored and will take the chance will both hands.

Kakuba is eager and ready to play once again before the home fans.

I am happy that we shall be playing the international build ups at home.

I am also looking forward to play before the home fans.
