Police coach Abdallah Mubiru feels his side put up a decent performance against SC Villa.
The 2005 league champions were dominant against the log leaders at Masaka but were pegged by a brilliant Martin Kizza goal five minutes after the break.
“The boys did well and never deserved to lose,” said Mubiru. “But we needed to ask more questions with our dominance which we did in parts,” he added.
“But overall, it was a good performance. We can only call for more effectiveness in front of goal.
Police were reduced to ten men with over twenty minutes to play but Mubiru reserved his comments on the quality of officiating.
“I don’t want to talk about referees but some of the decisions on the day were outrageous.”
Police’s next game is at StarTimes stadium, Lugogo against Proline on Tuesday April 17.
