  • Saturday, 12 May 2018
  • UGANDA Vs CAMEROON

*At Star Times Stadium, Lugogo – Kampala (4:00 pm)

Uganda Hippos coach Matia Lule believes the outfit should take advantage of their first leg game ahead of the return match away from home against Cameroon in CAF U-20.

The Hippos take on Cameroon during the first leg of the CAF U-20 opening round of the qualifiers at St Times Stadium, Lugogo on Saturday.

Uganda qualified 8-1 on aggregate over South Sudan in the preliminary round over the two legs.

Uganda Hippos had a good build up match with Jinja based Uganda Premier league side, BUL early this week which ended in a goal-less draw at the FUFA Technical center in Njeru.

The team will however dearly miss the services of three players Mustapha Kizza (suspended after a red card in the first leg with South Sudan), goalkeeper Tonny Kyamera and Sadam Masereka (with Buddo S.S in the copa games).

Lule has hope the team will perform well;

“We are at home and will make the home advantage count at full play” Lule stated.

Cameroon arrived in Uganda on Thursday and they will train at Lugogo on Friday evening for the mandatory last training.
