Vipers Sports Club defender Musa Malunda broke Sports Club Victoria University (SCVU) resistance to grant the home second yet another Uganda Premier League victory.

The game played at Buikwe Stadium on Friday consolidates Vipers’  position at the summit of the 16 teams table standings.

Vipers now have accumulated 29 points, four better of second placed KCC and 6 ahead of the 16 time record league winners, SC Villa.

SC Villa themselves succumbed to a last gasp equalizer through Alex Witaba after Karim Ndugwa had shot the home side ahead just 2 minutes into the Mityana fixture.

10 man Sadolin F.C made home advantage count, winning 1 – 0 over Lweza.

Striker, Umaru Ngobi got the all important strike, minutes after coming in as a substitute.

Bright Stars beat Entebbe F.C  2 – 1 in the other fixture.
