Uganda’s 16 time record league champions, Sports Club Villa has announced the sacking of their former head coach, Sam Ssimbwa.
The Villa Park based club parted ways with Sam Ssimbwa over insubordination.
Ssimbwa took over the club in October after the shocking sacking of then coach, Steven Bogere by the club president, Ben Misagga.
Bogere had handled SC Villa in just 3 games with a loss to Police F.C at Kavumba Recreational Stadium.
Ssimbwa’s relationship with the club had grown from bad to worse after failing to take full control of the dressing room.
A few weeks ago, Ssimbwa abandoned training at Nakivubo stadium after the presence of a suspended player, Steven Bengo, who had disobeyed his orders.
The matter was however solved amicably after Bengo apologized for the wrong doing and his month long suspension was lifted to 2 weeks.
