After confirming Danish born tactician, Jacques Meyer Van Der Walt as the new team coach, Jinja based Uganda Premier league side, Sadolin Paints football club is on course to sign a Ghanaian defender, Abbey Samuel.

Samuel, 20, has now trained with the Bugembe side for two days and impressed the technical department of the team.

Previously at Medeama F.C in the Ghanaian league, Samuel is a lanky physical defender whose composure and well timed tackles attributes have already impressed the technical side at Sadolin Paints F.C.

He arrived in Uganda last week and was introduced to the Bugembe based side on Tuesday.

Sadolin Paints assistant coach, Musafiri Samadu praised the calm defender;

His positioning and ball sense rate highly and let us see how he responds in training for the coming days.

The player’s agent cum representative, Ronnie Santos is hopeful the Ghanaian breaks through as he embarks on a long career ahead of him.

He will train at the club until next week before a final decision is taken.
