Shortly after arrival at Entebbe International Airport on Thursday evening, the Egyptian U-23 head coach Hosam El Badry hailed the true fighting spirit and special talent for the Ugandan team.
The Egyptian Young Pharaohs’ head tactician was part of the 30 man delegation that touched foot at Entebbe aboard Ethiopian Airlines on flight ET 332.
Talking Airtel Football, the Egyptian coach said;
They (Uganda) are attack minded and play a great blend of entertaining football. We respect the team 100 percent and that is why we came in early to prepare for the return leg
The Ugandan team faces an uphill task of overturning a 4-0 deficit suffered at the El Arab Borg Stadium in Alexandria two weeks ago.
Egypt will train at Nelson Mandela Stadium on Friday evening as mandated by the CAF competition rules and regulations
The team of 30 people (20 players and 10 officials) is accommodated at Kampala Sheraton Hotel.
