Starting the second round of the season, striker Ceaser Okhuti will ply his trade at ten times league champions KCCA.
The striker has penned a three year deal at the Lugogo based club and was unveiled on New Year’s Day at the club’s home in Lugogo.
“We are glad to announce the signing of Ceaser Okhuti,” KCCA manager Mike Mutebi said. “We believe his acquisition will add a lot to our striking force in our quest to win silverware this season. There is no doubt that Okhuti alongside Farouk Miya are the hottest property in Ugandan football at the moment,” he added.
The former SC Villa, Cranes and Maroons coach also added that more new faces will be joining Lugogo and warned that a few will exit too.
“The door isn’t closed for more additions but they will be revealed when the right time approaches. Let’s not speculate at the moment. Besides, there will be those who will leave.”
Okhuti couldn’t hide his joy at joining the club and promised to do what he does best; score goals for the club.
“Today, I can say it’s a dream true. It’s a very good opportunity for me, my family and everyone who supports football and the media who are always out there to support us. I have signed as a striker to continue doing what is my role, scoring goals.”
Okhuti becomes the club’s first signing in the window and will don shirt 11 formerly won by Michael Birungi who joined Sudan’s Khartoum Al Watani FC.
