JMC Hippos 0-2 KCCA

Denis Okot and Derrick Nsibambi scored at Kakindu as KCCA capitalized on Vipers slip up to widen gap at the summit of the league.

Okot netted at the stroke of half time to give the Kasasiro a deserved lead and Nsibambi added the other 19 minutes after the break.

With champions Vipers losing 1-0 at home to Bul a day before, Mike Mutebi’s charges now lead the table on 51 points although they have played a game more.

With six games to go, KCCA now need to pick three wins to confirm their championship status but as it stands, they have a hand on an eleventh league crown and Mutebi’s first as coach in his long career.
