Uganda Cranes star Micheal Azira was in perfect from alongside colleague Sam Cronin as Colorado Rapids snatched a 2-2 draw against Didier Drogba’s Montreal Impact on Saturday in Saputo Stadium.

Azira – who featured for the whole match, played key in stopping Montreal’s advances with Drogba, the former Chelsea, the focus.

Drogba opened the scores with excellent free-kick in the ninth minute before Rapids leveled at restart through Shkëlzen Gashi.

Bobby Burling’s late and final strike of the match helped Rapids to the stalemate following Maxim Tissot’s 50th minute goal.

The point brought the Rapids (5-2-2) above Dallas on goal difference and to the top of the Western Conference and overall MLS standings.
