Uganda Crested Cranes host Zanzibar in the second match of the 2016 CECAFA Women championship on match Day 3 at the FUFA Technical Center, Njeru.
In the earlier fixture, favourites Kenya will play Burundi of the 2:00 p.m fixture.
Zanzibar will miss the services of their first choice goalkeeper Amina Mohamed Kitambi who was red carded in the opener against Burundi for handling the ball outside the goal area.
On a sad note for Uganda, defender Stellah Kaliba Nassuna and utility player Winnie Babirye (injured) will not play in the game.
On a rather positive note, Hasifa Nassuna, US based Laki Otandeka, QPR midfielder Jean Seninde and the team skipper Christine Wanyana are in buoyant moods ahead of the match.
Kenya eyes a victory against Burundi to earn a berth to the last four stage.
An outright victory against Burundi, the Kenya Harambee Starlets would have become the first country to make the semi final grade.
Kenya looks to the fine form of players as the inspirational skipper Mary Kinuthia Wanjiku, Esse Mbeyu Akida and Vivian Corazon, all who scored on the opening day.
Burundi shoulders the creative role to Gafford Star player Neilla Uwimana as the rest of her teammates like Djazilla Uwimeza (hat-trick hero against Zanzibar), Sakina Saidi, Aziza Misigiyimana, Bukuru Joe’lle and Maggy Mumezero.
Only the top two countries per group qualify to the semi finals.
The tournament marks a return after 30 years of absence.
