Maroons drew 2-2 against Paidha Black Angels on their return to the FUFA Big League on Thursday 15th, at Bar Okoro, Zombo.

Eddy Kapampa opened the scoring with his first goal for the club in the 14th minute before the team’s last season’s top scorer, Patrick Kaddu heading in the goal scorer’s free kick to double the visitor’s advantage.

The hosts however, found their first goal through Fred Amako who converted a controversial penalty and the first half ended with both teams on the score sheet.

After recess in the 51st minute, Paidha won a corner and right there was their equalizer as Francis took advantage of Maroons’ defense that couldn’t clear that corner.

Both teams tried to look for a winner but none was successful in their attempts and the game ended in a draw.
