Vipers stop start to the season has seen them add experience to their squad by signing Uganda Cranes midfielder cum defender Hassan Wasswa.

The ex-KCCA and SC Villa star who left Iraq’s Al Shorta has signed a six months deal at the club.

Wasswa was rumoured to be heading to Lebanon after quitting the Iraq side and his move to the Uganda Cup winners has surprised many.

Coach Abdallah Mubiru who sources indicate wasn’t consulted on the player’s move says the dreadlocked midfielder brings command and stability to the team.

“His experience, authority and demand are what he brings to the side.”

He joins Brian Kakaire, Musa Esenu and Tonny Odur as new signings at the Kitende based side.
