Kenya Premier League side AFC Leopards have completed the signing of Ugandan midfielder Keziron Kizito from Vipers Sports Club.
The midfielder signed a two-year deal with the Ingwe as confirmed by club chairman Dan Mulee but he is expected to become a Leopards player on June 1 when the Kenya transfer window officially opens.
“We have signed Kizito on a two year contract but he will be registered once the June transfer window opens,” Mule told Futaa.com
Mule also confirmed that the ex-U23 Ugandan international has been acquired freely from Vipers after the club let his contract come to end at the end of the recently concluded Uganda Premier League season.
“He was a free agent and so it was easy to complete the transfer. It was just a matter of agreeing personal terms.”
Kizito has been a pillar in the Vipers midfield and leaves with two medals having won the league (2015/16) and Uganda Cup (2016).
The box-to-box player who was in the stands as Ingwe lost 1-0 to champions Tusker in Meru joins compatriots Yakubu Ramadhan and Allan Kateregga.
