FUFA Big League: Kitara pip Simba at Gayaza

Kitara Football Club defeated Simba 1-0 on Saturday at the Kabanyolo play ground in Gayaza.

Forward Herbert Billy ‘Counsel’ Alinda was on target for Kitara, a club from Hoima Municipality.

Kitara now leads the Rwenzori table standings with 17 points off  7 games.

Meanwhile, Doves from Arua outwited Kyetume 2-1 at the Safer play ground in Arua during the Elgon group.

Joel Mundwa and Keneddy Atibu  Doves All Stars.

Tarzan Kambugu got the consolation for Kyetume, coached by former Uganda Cranes midfielder Augustine Nsumba.

Regardless of the loss, Kyetume, a newly promoted club in the FUFA Big league remains top with 15 points from 7 matches, same number of points as Paidha Black Angels who have a game more.

Doves All Stars jump from 11th to 6th with 10 points to displace Busia Fisheries.

Paidha Black Angels defeated Allan Kabonge’s Lira United 1-0 at the Bar Okoro Stadium in Zombo.

Jackson Nsubuga scored the lone strike for Paidha.

Kabale Sharp fell 1-0 at their own home grave yard at Kabale Municipal Stadium to visiting Ntinda United.

Nyamityobora overcame Kira United 2-0 win at the Nyamityobora play ground in Mbarara.
