URA Football Club coach Ibrahim Kirya has revealed he was pleased with a point from the game against Proline in the Uganda Premier League.
The tax men played to a 1-1 draw thanks to Denis Kamanzi who came off the bench to cancel Sula Matovu’s opener.
“If we are talking football, in all honesty I’m pleased for the point earned because at some stage the game was out of our control,” Kirya told Airtel Football.
Kirya nevertheless blamed his creative players – the attacking midfield trio of Brian Majwega, Shafiq Kagimu and Peter Lwasa who barely created chances.
“The creativity only started after conceding. Today our creative players did not do enough.
“You can cut him (Kisekka) some slack because he got just one real chance and his position at the time was not good.”
Next up for URA is a Namboole battle against Police on Saturday, November 18.
