KCCA, KJT settle for a stalemate in practice match

Reigning Uganda Premier League champions KCCA Football drew with fourth division side Kampala Junior Team (KJT) at a practice match.

Allan Sserunga beat goalkeeper Charles Lukwago for the opener after 20 minutes to hand KJT the lead.

15 minutes later, KCCA found the equalizing goal through Julius Poloto.

Poloto was well positioned to tap home the rebound in acute angle past the goalkeeper Nasif Kabuye after forward Derrick Nsibambi had a fierce shot from distance spilled in the path of the on-lashing former Kibuli S.S player.

As the second half kicked KCCA introduced Ibrahim Sadam Juma, Patrick Kaddu and Filbert Obenchan for Isaac Kirabira, Nsibambi and Peter Magambo respectively.

KJT goalkeeper Kabuye denied substitute Kaddu with sublime save after a one against one.

Striker Muhammed Shaban was introduced for team captain Denis Okot Oola with about 25 minutes left on the clock.
