Maroons played out a goalless draw with Sports Club Villa Jogoo at the Masaka Recreational Stadium on Saturday evening.

SC Villa Jogoo was prevented from scoring by former servant Ashadu Bugembe who denied goal scoring chances.

Maroons Richard Ayiko was cautioned by FIFA Referee Aisha Ssemambo in 49thminute for unsporting conduct.

SC Villa Jogoo had two players booked; Martin Kizza and Henry Katongole in the 64thand 67th minutes respectively.

This was SC Villa’s 5th draw of the season which reduced their leadership to four points as the Jogoos have now amassed 33 points.

SC Villa is 4 points off second placed KCCA, whom they face on Thursday, 15th February 2018 at the Star Times Stadium, Lugogo.

Maroons thus registered their 10th draw of the season which improves them to 22 points, 6th on the 16 team log.
