Uganda Cranes legion of foreign based players have a second chance to impress Sebestien Desabre when the Cranes take on Malawi in a second international friendly.

Uganda Cranes coach Sebastien Desabre

The side garnered a 3-1 win over Sao Tome and Principe and the French-man remarked that it’s not easy to make judgement.

“After the first game you can’t make judgement,” Desabre said in his post-match reaction. “We shall look at more players against Malawi and see,” he added.

Against the lowly ranked Islanders, the Cranes were far from impressive although they did create a plethora of scoring chances which they never too.

“We created a lot of chances; we can improve on the finishing,” he lamented.

Emmanuel Okwi, Milton Karisa and substitutes Fahad Bayo and Yunus Sentamu all had chances to score but missed.

Players like Hood Kawesa, Jamal Salim, Denis Iguma and Charles Lukwago who have never played under the French man were among the unused substitutes on Saturday and may get a run-in against the Flames of Malawi.
