Mukatabala admits SC Villa’s performance was lacking in Police win

SC Villa assistant coach Paul Mukatabala admitted his side’s performance in the 1-0 win over Police was lacking.

The hosts were off colour at Masaka but garnered all three points thanks to Martin Kizza strike five minutes after the break.

“True, we didn’t play well today,” admitted Mukatabala. “But sometimes, it’s better to win ugly than lose points playing beautiful football,” he added.

We played well against KCCA but left empty handed. He who scores more goals wins the game and we did that.

The former Jogoos attacker also hailed the Cops for the good game but was quick to point out that their dominance wasn’t as much troubling.

Despite Police passing the ball well from defence and through the midfield, they never created so many problems for our goalkeeper and that says much about our ability to keep them at bay.
