Tooro United has announced that they have shifted venue for a home game against Kirinya Jinja SS from their designated Buhinga Stadium to Kavumba recreation centre.
The Smart Obedi bank rolled side changed their name from Soana FC to Tooro United and changed venues from Kavumba to Fort portal in the same process.
They opened their new season account with two away games and the Kirinya Jinja SS fixture was supposed to be their first home at Buhinga stadium.
However, the latest development confirms the club will momentarily play host to the Jinja based side at their old Kavumba Recreation Centre.
“There is change of venue for our home game against Kirinya Jinja SS FC from t formerly communicated Buhinga play ground to Kavumba Recreation Center in Wakiso,” reads a statement from the club.
Kavumba is currently utilized by Mbarara City FC as their home ground.
The reason for change venue is because the management of Kabarole district has already booked for another function on the same day of the game.
“Our home venue was earlier booked by the district for a function on that very day,” Confirmed Tooro United.
The game against the Jinja based side is slated for Tuesday, 16th October 2018.
Tooro United FC under the guise of coach Wasswa Bossa have so far played two games winning one against BUL FC and falling to KCCA FC in thier other fixture.
