BUL FC vs URA FC
Tuesday 6th November
Njeru Technical Center Kick off: 4:30pm
With three victories and one draw from six opening games to sit 2nd on the table with 13 points, BUL FC look to have found their feet under new head coach Peter Onen.
The Jinja based side are fast becoming a team to beat this season, and URA FC will need to up their game if they are to leave Njeru Technical Centre unscathed when they play visitors to BUL FC on Tuesday.
“We are not looking at our past performances however good they look. We are just focusing on the coming games and I have told the boys to forget our 4-1 win over Ndejje University last time out and take care of BUL on Tuesday,” Onen told Airtel Football.
However, a cursory look on the UPL table indicates the Tax Collectors as this season’s draw masters.
They have four draws out of six games and although are yet to taste defeat this season, their Achilles heel has been lack of goals up front – a frustrating home goalless draw against debutants Nyamityobora FC last time out can attest.
The trident of Vitalis Tabu, Peter Lwasa and Mathew Odongo have failed miserably to produce goals when it matters while their opponents have been scoring for fun lately.
Hamis Tibita, Daniel Shabena and Deogratious Ojok have scored as many goals amongst them selves and will pose threat to visiting URA.
URA has won 7 of their 14 league meetings with BUL, drawing on five occasions.
The Jinja based side have managed to win only two games of the past encounters.
URA sit 8th with 10 points but victory can lift them up to 2nd spot if others results go their way.
BUL can momentarily unseat log leaders Vipers should they pick a positive result in Njeru.
