The U-23 national 23- man squad has been named ahead of their preliminary U-23 Afcon qualifier encounter against South Sudan on Wednesday November 14 at Star Times Stadium, Lugogo.
The selected players entered residential training camp at FUFA Technical Center Njeru Jinja on Sunday.
The Kobs team are participating in a two-legged Afcon U23 Qualifier against neighbors South Sudan to be played on 14th November (home) and the return leg on 20th November in Juba.
The overall winner over the two legs, will meet Tunisia in the second round between 18th and 26th March 2019.
The team is under the stewardship of Head Coach Wasswa Bbosa, assistant coach Charles Ayieko and Goal keeping coach Sadiq Wassa.
The most conspicuous inclusion, however has been Australia based youngster Trevor Semakula who features out for Weerebie City Stars FC.
Vipers SC winger Duncan Ssenidde, UPL top scorer Joel Madondo, Mahad Yaya Kakooza and goalie Mathias Muwanga are some of the new faces on the Kobs team who made the cut.
The Kobs lost 2-0 to Uganda Cranes in a build encounter with Emmanuel Okwi and Viane Sekajungo scoring for the senior side.
