Abdul Kadir Omar has been appointed as centre referee for Kobs’ return leg encounter against South Sudan in Juba on Tuesday.
He be will be assisted by his compatriots Ahmed Farah and Abdi Nour as the first and second assistant referees respectively.
The Uganda Kobs required a last gasp penalty- scored by Mustafah Kizza in stoppage time to stave off hard-fighting South Sudan on Wednesday and head into the return leg with a slim one goal advantage.
The decisive penalty was awarded by Egyptian referee Ahmed Ghandour, who was flanked by Yossef Wahid Elbosaty and Hany Abdelfattah Mahmoud.
The Wasswa Bbosa coached team resumed their preparations for the return leg today Friday 16th November at the StarTimes Stadium Lugogo.
The aggregate winner between Uganda Kobs and South Sudan will face Tunisia in the final qualification round of the AFCON U23 final tournament.
