Morocco’s Raja Casablanca claimed the 2018 Caf Confederation Cup after holding on to beat DR Congo AS Vita 4-3 on aggregate.
The North African side had won the first leg 3-0 a week ago and were destined to cruise in the return leg.
Abdelilah Hafidi made the tie even tougher for the Congo side when he scored for Raja in the 21st minute to make it 4-0 to the Moroccans on aggregate.
However, this didn’t deter the hosts from pushing the Morocco side and towards the end of the first half with Makusu Mundele hitting the back of the net from a brilliant free kick.
In the second half, Mukoko Batezadio scored in the 71st minutes for the hosts with Fabrice Ngoma scoring shortly after to close the deficit to just 4-3 to Raja to give Florent Ibenge side hope of overturning the game.
