Bamweyana disappointed after SC Villa dropped points

Douglas Bamweyana couldn’t hide disappointment after SC Villa dropped points at home to Maroons.

SC Villa missed a penalty and despite being dominant throughout, they settled for a one-all draw.

Maroons took the lead through Pius Obuya before Bashir Mutanda equalised for the Jogoos.

“We are very disappointed with the results,” a seemingly devastated Bamweyana told the press.

“We were in control, created chances and even got a good one to win it but that’s football,” he added.

Under Bamweyana, SC Villa have collected four points in two games, same tally they managed under Moses Basena in eight league outings.

SC Villa are 11th on the 16-team log with 8 points in 9 games.
