51 year-old signs new contract at Yokohama FC


Former Japan international King Kazu 51, has signed a new contract at Yokohama FC.

The seemingly never-ending career Kazu a.k.a Kazuyoshi Miura is set to continue on for at least one more year.

Japanese second-tier side Yokohama FC announced an extension of the contract with 51-year-old, giving him the chance to extend his own records.

Miura, who broke Stanley Matthews’ record as the oldest professional to score a goal in 2017, retired from international football 18 years ago with 89 caps and 55 goals for Japan.
