Coach Kefa Kisala

A section of Express FC fans showed their displeasure towards head Coach Kefa Kisala following Thursday’s home goalless draw with strugglers Ndejje University.

The frustrating result meant that old boy Kisala, who was appointed new coach at the beginning of this season, has managed to oversee only five victories from the fifteen first round fixtures.

The Red Eagles have accrued six draws and concluded the first round seated 7th with 21 points on the 16-team log.

And after home fans watching in irritation as their side fired blanks against Ndejje- as both sides culminated their first round fixtures – a section of the Red Army demanded for the sacking the coach.

To them, the former URA FC, BUL FC coach is doing nothing right in their eyes.

Chants of ‘Kisala out’ could be voiced at heartfelt volume.

Club Chairman Kiryowa Kiwanuka retaliated that he is have a first round review with the technical team today.

“I am meeting with the technical team on Friday (11th January 2019) to discuss the progress of the first round. Let us give management time. We plan to beef up the team with 5 players during the January window.” revealed Kiryowa Kiwanuka

Though Express FC’s league form has disappointed this season, a sense of optimism has been restored around the club in recent days with results moderately improving than those of last season where the club survived relegation on the last day of the season.
