KCCA FC Coach Mike Mutebi is refusing to give up a ghost in his side’s two-legged Caf Confederation Cup play-off against AS Otoho d’Oyo despite losing the first leg.
The Kasasiro Boys lost 3-0 to the Congolese side on Sunday, a grim result that put their hopes of progression to the much vaunted group stages on the precipice, literary.
Forward Moussa Yedan opened the scoring in the 20th minute from 12 yards and again two minutes later completed his brace when caught the KCCA FC defence napping to slot home the second.

“The chances they got, they used them and that’s the difference today, otherwise we need to go back home and prepare for the return leg adequately,” he added.
Mutebi’s attacking style of play is believed to have hastened his side’s downfall in Congo but the coach categorically stated his team will always stick on the attacking style of play.
“We didn’t come here to play a containing game, we were attacking, even when we go back home we have to play the same way but we shall be more effective with the chances we get because we know we shall get the chances,” Mutebi added.
KCCA FC will need to put up a nearly flawless display and score at least four goals without response for them to advance to the group stages of the 2018/2019 CAF Confederation Cup with a better goal difference.
