Jesse Lingard has revealed how Marcus Rashford worked so hard to perfect his finishing while in Dubai.
Rashford, whose finishing looks inspired at the moment scored the only goal in Tottenham’s home loss to United.
United were a particular danger on the counter before Rashford found the back of the net off Paul Pogba’s excellent pass.
“Throughout the training sessions in Dubai he’s was practicing his finishing with the manager,” said Jesse Lingard.
“It’s prepared him for big games and moments like that.”
The win meant Ole Gunnar Solskjaer equalled Matt Busby’s all-time record of winning his first five league games in charge of Manchester United.
United now have real momentum and their bid to claim a Champions League place is gathering pace.
For Spurs are now nine points behind Liverpool and it would take a major collapse from the Merseysiders – as well as Manchester City – for Pochettino’s men to triumph.
