Express FC Coach Kefa Kisala has warned his side that Big League opponents Water FC won’t be push-overs when the two sides face-off on in the round of 32 tie at Muteesa II Stadium Wakulukuku on Thursday.
Both sides did not a break sweat to reach to this round after getting walk-overs in their respective round of 64.
Victory will see the Red Eagles progress to the round of 16 although Kisala is certain of the threat Water FC can pose .
“It is a team which has been in Ugandan Football for so long you can not undermine them and financially they are stable because they belong to an institution and play in the Big League which isn’t an easy project. We played a friendly with them they have a young team and believe in themselves so it won’t be an easy team,” Kisala told the club’s official website.
Express FC did not go past this stage losing to Kitara FC in Hoima last seaon and would taken a lesson or two from eternal rivals SC Villa’s downfall. The Joogos were eliminated by Buganda Regional side Nkambi Coffee on Wednesday.
Kisala expects to welcome back striker Eric Kambale and midfielder Badru Nsubuga who missed the last game of the first round against Ndejje University.
