This followed Vipers 1-3 loss to SC Villa on the same day. This meant the Kasasiro remained unscathed, with 41 points, rivals Vipers on 37.

KCCA FC were coming off a hard fought win over Onduparaka at Lugogo while Bright Stars were seeking improvement from their 1-1 draw with SC Villa.

On the pitch, the two sides gave it a good fight with Benson Wegima thwarting all attacks on goal while at the other end, Nelson Senkatuka missed arguably his side’s best chance when he hit the post.

The Kasasiro were the better side overall but couldn’t break a resilient Bright Stars defence as the two teams shared the points.
